The MidAtlantic Employer’s Association (MEA) wanted to acquaint businesses named “fastest growing companies” by Philadelphia Business Journal to its workforce recruitment, compensation and training resources. The ultimate goal was to attract new members from mid-size companies in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  Alvaré was asked to create an intriguing 3D direct mail piece that prospects would open, read and respond to.

HR managers and senior executives from this targeted group of companies received a direct mail package with the contents exposed under a clear casing to immediately catch their attention. Inside was a promotional insert with an invitation to “Watch Your Workforce Grow” with MEA’s Human Resources Solutions. To bring home the point in a humorous way, the mailing included a small toy of a muscular man that promised to “grow” 600% when dropped in water. Small wonder that prospects immediately interacted with the promotion and were more responsive to follow-up calls from the Association requesting informational meetings about membership opportunities.
